Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver telehealth therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to facilitate healing and growth in clients.

• Provide ongoing support and therapy services to children, teens, young adults, and their families, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.

• Regularly meet with clients and their families to review progress, adjust treatment plans, and implement necessary interventions.

• Collaborate closely with a team of clinical professionals, contributing to case discussions and sharing insights that enhance client care.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies.

• Engage in clinical supervision and participate in weekly team meetings to discuss case progress and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and young adults who are grappling with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will be vital in guiding families through their challenges, offering support, resources, and a path towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field is essential.
\n
• Current and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation in the state of Maryland.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing psychotherapy in a community mental health or clinical setting.

• Active Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
\n
• Ability to work independently, utilizing excellent interpersonal skills while fostering strong therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with trauma-informed care and familiarity with modalities such as EMDR, DBT, and CBT will be highly regarded.

• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records to manage client engagement and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
