Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate the needs and strengths of clients across varied demographics.

• Craft and implement tailored treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices, ensuring alignment with the individual therapeutic goals.

• Deliver a spectrum of psychotherapy services, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy, via telehealth platforms, adapting your approach to diverse client scenarios.

• Document clinical progress in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to the highest ethical and legal standards as required by professional licensure.

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes, sharing insights and referring clients to additional resources, including community support services.

• Engage in clinical team meetings and case consultations to continually refine treatment strategies and professional development.

• Stay updated on legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families dealing with end-of-life issues and complex emotional dynamics associated with hospice care. This includes patients experiencing anxiety, grief, depression, and other trauma-related responses. Your role would significantly shape their experience during this critical phase of their lives by providing support, guidance, and therapeutic interventions tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Active LCSW license in the state of New Jersey is required.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, ideally in a behavioral health or hospice setting.

• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth technology to provide effective therapy sessions remotely.

• Demonstrated strong clinical judgement, excellent communication, and cultural humility in client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training in trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), or similar modalities.
