Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and strengths of clients, forming personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide individual, couples, and family therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops or support groups, encouraging peer interaction and shared experiences among clients while addressing common mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by sharing insights and treatment plans, fostering a comprehensive approach to each client’s care.

• Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate support and resources for those experiencing acute mental health emergencies.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and assessments in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with individuals who are coping with a wide range of mental health issues, from mild anxiety and depression to more complex psychological disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in the state of Washington.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, with the ability to apply these concepts effectively in practice.
