Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to determine clients’ mental health needs, ensuring each individual receives a personalized approach to care.

• Develop evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting clear and achievable goals for their progress and recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy).

• Regularly monitor and document clients’ progress toward their treatment goals, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet their evolving needs.

• Coordinate care effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and case managers, to provide holistic support.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources, fostering a supportive community around each client.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest research and practices in mental health counseling.

The individuals you will serve at Balance Haven represent a diverse demographic, including children, teenagers, adults, and families. Many clients present with varying concerns such as anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance use challenges. You will play a crucial role in not only helping clients navigate these challenges but also in empowering them to achieve long-term emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current, valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Completion of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Exemplary interpersonal skills with the ability to establish a trusting rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position comes with a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, based on qualifications and experience.
