Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to determine patients' trauma histories and develop tailored therapeutic strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client's specific needs.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide a comprehensive care approach that benefits each client’s therapeutic progress.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and accessible mental health resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and legally compliant documentation of client treatment and progress using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to foster a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

• Stay current with evolving research and therapeutic practices in the field of trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
