Work Environment\n

This role is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility in your working hours while ensuring you remain connected with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. While you will primarily conduct sessions in a virtual environment, you will also have opportunities to facilitate group sessions and community workshops that foster connection and support among patients. Your work schedule will primarily be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate mental health assessments to identify patient needs and create individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy with individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups designed to address common mental health challenges, providing patients with a framework for community support.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care that addresses all aspects of patient wellness.

• Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring immediate support for clients during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and engagement in their recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines while using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to continuously elevate the quality of care provided.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health treatment and research, integrating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Our clinic serves individuals from various backgrounds, including adults, adolescents, and families, which offers you the opportunity to tailor your therapeutic practices to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Solid understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities is essential.

• Experience in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver both individual and group therapy to diverse populations.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions.

• Strong ethical standards and professional boundaries; sound judgment in clinical decision-making.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
