Work Environment\n

This role primarily operates within a remote work setting, allowing for a flexible schedule that can be tailored to meet the needs of both the therapist and their clients. You will work in an outpatient office environment virtually, providing counseling services to clients experiencing various mental health challenges. Our schedule generally covers Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility necessary to accommodate client appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to gain an understanding of clients' backgrounds, mental health history, and specific needs, ultimately guiding the development of personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes to facilitate continuity of care.

• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team—which may include psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals—through regular consultations to optimize patient outcomes.

• Participate in ongoing peer review meetings aimed at enhancing therapeutic practices and ensuring high-quality care delivery across the board.

• Educate and empower clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to foster a supportive recovery environment.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the mental health field through continued education and professional development opportunities, ensuring practice remains informed by current research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population consists of individuals struggling with various mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and family dynamics. We provide therapeutic support across different demographics, prioritizing a tailored approach that respects each person’s unique story and therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Proven ability to apply solution-based psychotherapy interventions, customizing techniques to meet the diverse needs of clients.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering an environment of trust and collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
