Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing clients’ mental health needs, including crisis intervention planning.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring all client information is securely managed and accessible as needed.

• Utilize evidence-based assessment tools in collaboration with the clinical team to identify suitable interventions and monitor client progress.

• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to craft and implement positive behavior support plans that promote client resilience and coping strategies.

• Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the quality and integrity of services provided.

• Serve as a key liaison between clients and service systems, state agencies, and community partners to facilitate comprehensive care.

• Foster open communication with community stakeholders to align agency goals with local needs, forging new partnerships and potential funding opportunities.

• Seek opportunities for professional development, attending relevant conferences and representing the agency at statewide meetings and task forces.

• Embark on initiatives that promote the agency’s mission, core values, and ethical principles in practice.

• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse range of clients, including those struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. Counselors will have the opportunity to engage with clients from various backgrounds, providing a holistic approach to mental health care that recognizes the uniqueness of each individual.
