Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Diamond Path Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group sessions for young adults, fostering a supportive environment where clients can share their experiences, gain new perspectives, and learn coping strategies from one another.

• Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling sessions tailored to each client's unique needs, focusing on exploring thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing actionable coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to establish individualized treatment plans, ensuring that each plan aligns with their goals, preferences, and specific challenges.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.

• Multidisciplinary Cooperation: Work closely with a team of mental health professionals, coordinating care, sharing insights, and consulting on complex cases to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating various mental health challenges. Many of these clients may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and transitional life challenges. By offering a safe, understanding space, you will help them confront their struggles, facilitating their path toward recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid LPCC license in California.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; additional educational qualifications are preferred.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex concepts to clients and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have previous experience working in outpatient settings, specifically with young adult populations. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is highly desirable. Experience working in a telehealth capacity is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, employees will benefit from comprehensive health insurance, flexible scheduling, and support for continuing education, including continuing education units (CEUs) and free clinical supervision.
