Key Responsibilities\n

In the role of a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a caseload of clients requiring compassionate mental health support, ensuring that you establish rapport and foster positive therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics.

• Conducting regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, identify any issues, and schedule follow-up appointments or discharge when appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring personalized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique needs and goals.

• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, to track client engagement and outcomes.

• Carrying out intake assessments to evaluate new clients and determine the most effective treatment approaches.

• Participating in supervisory sessions to enhance your professional development and clinical skills.

• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure holistic care and support for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will be youth-focused, working primarily with adolescents and young adults who may be experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and substance use issues. You will be instrumental in guiding these individuals toward healing and resilience as they navigate complex life transitions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Ability to fulfill the internal credentialing requirements for our clinic and relevant clinical settings.

• At least two years of experience in mental health counseling, specifically in assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for both individuals and groups.

• Demonstrated experience working with psychiatric and/or substance abuse populations.

• Proficiency in using computers and basic software applications for documentation and reporting purposes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
