Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct support to clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders by conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and delivering individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

• Participate actively as a member of our interprofessional team, sharing insights and strategies to achieve common therapeutic goals and improve client outcomes.
\n
• Foster a respectful and collaborative atmosphere by effectively working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultural experiences, ensuring each client feels valued and understood.

• Implement various treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques tailored to individual client needs, including crisis intervention strategies when necessary.
\n
• Maintain a manageable caseload and document case notes in compliance with agency standards, ensuring accurate and timely information for treatment reviews.

• Be available for on-call coverage during and after program hours to address urgent client needs and emergencies as assigned.

• Contribute to agency-wide committees aimed at improving service delivery and enhancing quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients struggling with significant mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and other mood disorders. You will receive ongoing training and support to effectively address complex cases and employ appropriate therapeutic interventions that promote recovery and stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience demonstrating expertise in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis management, and therapeutic practices.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex treatment information in an easily digestible manner for clients and their families.

• Proven organizational and planning abilities that facilitate smooth workflow and effective management of client schedules and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working within community health settings or a similar clinic environment is preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and electronic health record systems will be a plus, enhancing your ability to provide quality care efficiently.
