Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients utilizing specialized teletherapy software, ensuring to capture relevant psychological and emotional factors impacting their well-being.

• Facilitate engaging one-on-one therapy sessions via secure webcam, implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques adapted for a virtual audience, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness interventions.

• Regularly participate in team meetings through video conferencing tools to monitor patient progress, collaborate on treatment planning, and share insights to enhance multidisciplinary treatment approaches.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training focused on best practices in digital mental health counseling, ensuring continuous adherence to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Brilliant Minds Psychosocial Center, you will work with a diverse client population, ranging from children to adults, who are facing a spectrum of mental health challenges. Our clients seek help for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. You will play an essential role in guiding them toward healthier coping mechanisms and enhanced mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Active and valid licensure as either a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.

• A minimum of two years’ experience practicing independently without supervision in a mental health setting is highly preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy, active listening, and genuine connection with clients.

• Proficiency with technology, including teletherapy platforms, electronic health records, and various software for virtual communication.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 52,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Counselors can expect weekly direct deposit payments and comprehensive healthcare coverage as part of our full-time benefits package.
