Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical and mental health through thorough physical examinations and detailed medical histories.
• Order, collect, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests and diagnostic studies to determine patient health needs and tailor appropriate treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage medication therapies, ensuring that treatments align with established protocols that prioritize safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records that document treatment plans, progress, and outcomes, ensuring timely follow-ups and referrals to additional specialists as needed.
• Engage in all aspects of perioperative management, providing support across outpatient, inpatient, and operating room contexts, ensuring seamless transitions at every stage of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be responsible for a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals dealing with chronic pain and other related conditions. Our center caters to patients across various demographics, including those seeking innovative treatment options to improve their quality of life. Understanding each unique patient's background and requirements will be vital in formulating individualized care strategies.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pain Management setting is required.
• A Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field is mandatory.
• A valid Physician Assistant certification and state licensure are essential for this role.
• Proficiency in interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests is required.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record systems and software applications.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of experience in Pain Management is the minimum requirement, candidates with additional experience in chronic pain treatment modalities, interventional pain management, or complementary therapies will be given preference. Familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration in a healthcare setting will further enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits
