Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, you will undertake a varied range of responsibilities including:

• Conducting thorough assessments and formulating treatment plans tailored to the needs of clients, including pre-crisis and crisis plans and behavioral guidelines.

• Completing necessary documentation promptly, adhering to regulatory standards and ensuring compliance.
\n
• Employing evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to support accurate assessments.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement positive behavior support plans for clients.

• Participating proactively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring that all necessary documentation and standards are met.

• Acting as a liaison with service systems, state agencies, and community partners to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Fostering effective communication with stakeholders to meet contract standards while promoting the mission of CenCal within the community.

• Building and maintaining relationships with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as private organizations to enhance program visibility and secure additional resources.

• Engaging in ongoing personal and professional development by attending conferences, workshops, and other relevant educational opportunities.

• Promoting and integrating the values and mission of CenCal into your daily practice while performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse patient population, including those experiencing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and individuals with developmental disabilities or brain injuries. You will provide empathetic support and tailored interventions that empower clients to navigate their unique challenges and actively participate in their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must hold:

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field.

• An independent LPCC license, valid in California.
