As a vital member of our rehabilitation team, you will be instrumental in aiding patients to regain mobility and improve their functional abilities. Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in our Los Angeles location, located in a vibrant community that is known for its diverse culture and accessibility. Our practice operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a supportive and collaborative work atmosphere. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, allowing for meaningful collaboration and the sharing of best practices in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient objectives and develop evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Manage a patient caseload of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescriptions to enhance patient outcomes and facilitate recovery.
• Design comprehensive care plans that integrate a variety of treatment modalities to address pain management, strength, flexibility, and functional mobility.
• Employ innovative strategies aimed at reducing dependency on medications and minimizing the need for surgical interventions.
• Motivate and engage patients throughout their treatment journey, providing education and support to foster proactive participation in their rehabilitation.
• Assess treatment effectiveness regularly, documenting progress meticulously to ensure continuity of care and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Maintain open lines of communication with other healthcare providers to coordinate care effectively and optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment provided utilizing EMR systems, including WebPT, to ensure compliance and facilitate seamless information sharing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily supports patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, as well as individuals aiming to improve their overall physical function. Our diverse clientele includes both athletes and non-athletes seeking rehabilitation, resulting in a rich variety of treatment scenarios and approaches.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no disciplinary actions on your record.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Strong foundation in developing, implementing, and advancing exercise regimens customized to patient needs.
• Comfortable using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to enhance clinic productivity and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation and knowledge of the latest evidence-based practices will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
