Work Environment

The role of Physical Therapist is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility located in Fords, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Baylor Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to patient recovery and wellness:

• Directing physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, restoring muscle function, and maximizing performance in line with each client's unique capabilities.
• Evaluating patients' functional levels through diagnostic tests, and formulating individualized treatment approaches accordingly.
• Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to established care protocols and effective delivery of services.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, traction, massage, and other treatment modalities as prescribed by physicians.
• Assessing and recommending home modifications to enhance patients' independence during rehabilitation.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, and submitting documentation in compliance with organizational policies.
• Contributing to interdisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights on patient progress, and collaborating on comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Providing education and support to clients and families on therapy programs and device usage.
• Conducting functional assessments and revising care plans as necessary to adapt to patients' evolving needs.
• Staying current with best practices in therapy techniques and actively participating in ongoing professional development.

The patients you will serve include diverse individuals requiring rehabilitation for various conditions, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, neurological disorders, and more. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid PT license in the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification.
• A demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and a passion for patient care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

Although the minimum experience required is two years as a Physical Therapist, candidates with a background in acute care settings or home care will be highly regarded. Experience in utilizing therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
