Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients in collaboration with the clinical team.

• Provide crisis intervention strategies and develop pre-crisis and crisis management plans to ensure client safety and stability.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and screening tools, thoroughly documenting client progress and treatment effectiveness in accordance with regulatory standards.

• Develop and implement positive behavior support plans in cooperation with interdisciplinary teams, facilitating a cohesive approach to client care.

• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, upholding the clinic's commitment to quality service delivery.

• Serve as a liaison among state agencies, community partners, and relevant service systems, fostering collaboration and resource sharing.

• Engage with local and federal organizations to form strategic partnerships, identifying new opportunities for collaboration and funding.

• Engage in continuous personal and professional development through conferences, workshops, and community task forces.

• Promote the mission and values of Brightside Mental Health Clinic within the community, serving as an advocate for mental health.

• Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and other emotional disturbances. You will work with a diverse client base that includes those seeking recovery from substance abuse, individuals with developmental disabilities, and people recovering from brain injuries. By providing accessible and compassionate support, you will contribute to creating a safe environment for healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is mandatory for this role.

• An independent LMHC license issued by the state of California is required; we offer support for out-of-state LMHCs to obtain California licensure.
