Work Environment\n

This position enables flexibility, combining remote work opportunities with in-person sessions at our Bedford facility. Our clinic operates seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm, encouraging a work-life balance for our employees along with a structure that allows for client engagement at varying times. You will have access to a supportive case management team, which ensures that scheduling and client service processes are streamlined. Your work will not be confined to individual counseling, as you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment to provide holistic care.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Therapeutic Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and determine suitable treatment pathways.

• Creating and executing individualized treatment plans focused on enhancing resilience and promoting trauma recovery.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including methodologies like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process their trauma experiences, develop coping strategies, and facilitate healing.

• Closely collaborating with psychiatrists and a diverse professional team to achieve integrated and cohesive patient care.

• Offering crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure clients feel safe and heard.

• Educating clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and the resources available to them.

• Maintaining accurate, thorough, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, safeguarding patient privacy and trust.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population facing various trauma-related challenges. The clients range in age and backgrounds, demonstrating diverse experiences that shape their mental health needs. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LPC licensure in the state of Texas.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
