Life Vista Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and fully licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while providing essential support to a diverse range of individuals dealing with mental health challenges. As a Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing of our clients, contributing significantly to their journey towards better mental health.

As a remote-based role, you will enjoy the conveniences of working from home, with the support and resources needed to deliver exceptional care. While the primary work environment is virtual, regular team meetings, training sessions, and collaborative discussions will occur in our outpatient office to foster a sense of team cohesion and professional development. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring consistent communication among colleagues to deliver holistic care to clients.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine individual clients’ mental health needs, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing specific concerns.
• Provide evidence-based therapy services through various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapted to individual, group, and family settings.
• Work closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other health professionals to ensure clients receive coordinated and integrated care.
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques to address acute psychological distress or emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely and compassionate support.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to educate the public about mental health issues, aiming to reduce stigma and promote compassionate understanding.

Your focus will be on a diverse patient population that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. With your skills, you will directly impact individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges, helping them navigate their unique circumstances and achieve enhanced mental health outcomes.

• Active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong therapeutic relationships that respect client diversity and individual needs.
• Ability to demonstrate cultural competence, allowing for effective engagement with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate documentation and timely follow-ups.

• Previous experience working in a community mental health setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling tools to enhance client interaction.
• Experience in crisis intervention and managing high-risk cases will be advantageous.
