Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories and co-occurring mental health challenges, utilizing validated assessment tools.

• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that address each client's addiction and underlying mental health conditions, regularly adjusting these plans as necessary.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, applying a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based strategies.

• Actively collaborate with other treatment team members to ensure a cohesive treatment approach and cultivate a shared understanding of each client’s care.

• Educate clients’ families about addiction, recovery processes, and how they can best support their loved ones effectively during and post-treatment.

• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards by accurately documenting client progress and treatment efficacy, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role centers on individuals with substance use disorders, particularly those experiencing concurrent mental health issues. You will work closely with a diverse client population, ranging from adolescents to adults, each facing unique challenges in their recovery journey. Your ability to understand and address the complex factors influencing their addictions will be vital in fostering trust and guiding them toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Specialized training or direct experience in addiction counseling is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices for the treatment of substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

• Exceptional counseling skills, coupled with the ability to inspire and motivate clients towards recovery.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have experience working in an outpatient clinic, specifically within addiction treatment or similar environments. Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
