Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma history and collaboratively determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Utilize specialized techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address clients' needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and comprehensive care approach for our clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, exhibiting calmness and professionalism in high-stress situations.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available therapeutic resources.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development centered around trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base that has experienced varying degrees of trauma. By employing a trauma-informed approach, you will help clients navigate their experiences and develop resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• Two years of post-licensure experience is preferred but not mandatory.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and knowledge of effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our compensation package includes:
