Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed mental health therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with clients to identify and achieve personalized treatment goals through evidence-based practices.

• Providing preventive, therapeutic interventions tailored to meet individual needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, or other modalities.

• Implementing and reviewing tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other healthcare professionals.
\n
• Regularly collaborating with external treatment providers, placement agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
\n
• Maintaining a detailed caseload and keeping accurate and timely session notes and documentation adhering to legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in staff meetings for case discussions and professional development.
\n
• Contributing to the overall culture and environment of the clinic, promoting wellness and personal growth among clients and colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The population served at Heart of Hope includes a diverse array of clients ranging from adolescents to adults experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and trauma-related issues. As a therapist, you will work with clients from varied backgrounds, helping them navigate their mental health journeys and empowering them with tools for resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.

• A bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients and families.
\n
• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to an inclusive clinic environment.

• Proficient understanding of community mental health resources and the ability to navigate the referral process.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling or related fields is required, candidates with a background in community-based therapy, crisis intervention, or trauma-informed care will be considered favorably. Compensation and Benefits\n

Heart of Hope offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and credentials. Additional benefits include:
