Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients, creating individualized treatment plans that address specific mental health issues.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Deliver therapy in individual, group, couple, and family formats, ensuring sessions are constructive and supportive.

• Maintain up-to-date clinical records in compliance with both legal and ethical standards, utilizing EMR software for accurate documentation.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to remain current with best practices and advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work primarily with a diverse patient population, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Our clients often come from underserved communities, requiring a counselor who exhibits empathy, cultural competence, and a keen understanding of the barriers they may encounter in accessing mental health services.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Clinical license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within the counseling practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
