Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to ascertain clients’ mental health challenges and strengths, tailoring interventions accordingly.

• Provide a range of therapeutic services including individual, family, and group therapy, employing evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate specific goals and actionable strategies, adjusting as necessary based on the evolving needs of the client.

• Work alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes for students.

• Lead group therapy sessions, psychoeducational classes, and support groups to promote communal healing and knowledge-sharing.

• Offer crisis intervention strategies, including risk assessments and safety planning, to ensure the protection and well-being of all clients.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on school-aged children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. By working directly within schools, you will address the unique needs of students, helping them develop coping strategies and resilience to navigate their academic and social environments successfully.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• At least two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting, with a strong emphasis on providing therapy to children and adolescents.

• Knowledge of current evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment strategies targeting youth mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n
