Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic evaluations and functional assessments to formulate effective treatment plans.

• Provide immediate therapeutic interventions for patients experiencing mental health challenges, employing brief, focused strategies.

• Collaborate with primary care providers, making informed recommendations on treatment goals and identifying patients needing referrals to specialty mental health services.

• Follow up with patients to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on individual needs.

• Develop relapse prevention plans for patients, ensuring ongoing support and resources to protect against deterioration of mental health.

• Document patient progress meticulously in treatment charts, ensuring compliance with Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) standards.

• Educate patients on self-management strategies and coping mechanisms to empower them in their recovery process.
\n
• Act as a resource for clinic management and fellow staff regarding behavioral health services, contributing to program evaluation and improvement.

• Assist patients in understanding and complying with medical treatments initiated by primary care providers.
\n
• Adhere to the highest ethical standards in clinical practice throughout your interaction with patients and colleagues.

• Complete additional duties as required by the organization, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to contribute to patient care goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult and pediatric patients dealing with diverse and complex mental health issues. This includes individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and potential co-occurring disorders. You will work closely with each patient to design personalized treatment strategies, ensuring their needs are met in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field is mandatory.

• Active LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license required for practice.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $87,000 to $105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
