Work Environment

This role is based onsite in our outpatient facility, which is designed to foster a collaborative atmosphere among healthcare professionals. You will have the chance to work closely with a supportive team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and administrative staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and resources to support your practice and enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to establish patient-specific goals and treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modality applications.
• Manage a patient caseload, averaging one patient per hour, allowing for focused and personalized therapy sessions.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately, ensuring all interventions correspond to established treatment goals.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, preventive care measures, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide integrated care solutions.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, for meticulous record-keeping and treatment documentation.
• Actively engage in patient motivation through encouragement and support, promoting adherence to treatment plans.
• Evaluate and refine fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Advocate for non-surgical alternatives to medication, aligning with our holistic approach to rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. We employ a patient-centric approach, adjusting therapeutic techniques to meet the specific needs of each individual. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree (MPT or DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Florida state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against licensure.
• Proficiency in evidence-based manual therapy techniques.
• Skilled in developing and implementing personalized exercise programs.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient care management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, providing familiarity with specialized rehabilitation protocols.
• Demonstrated expertise in functional movement analysis and sports rehabilitation may enhance candidate suitability.
• A history of participation in continuing education and professional development in physical therapy is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
