Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of children and adolescents.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily involves working with children and adolescents experiencing varying degrees of emotional and behavioral challenges. The role focuses on creating a supportive and safe therapeutic environment for young individuals aged between 5 and 18 years, addressing their unique mental health needs in a personalized and compassionate manner.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience preferred, particularly in child and adolescent mental health.

• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, including evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Demonstrable experience delivering individual and family therapy to young patients.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to a child-centered and empathetic therapeutic approach.

• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with relevant computer applications.
