Work Environment\n

This remote position allows clinicians to maintain a work-life balance while actively engaging with our community health clinic. You will enjoy the flexibility of remote work, conducting virtual therapy sessions and assessments while being supported by a strong administrative team. While routine hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs, ensuring comprehensive care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations of children and adolescents, identifying individual needs and challenges.
\n
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that consider developmental stages and unique family dynamics, continually modifying them based on patient progress.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to effectively address anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, guiding parents and caregivers in creating a nurturing environment that supports emotional well-being.
\n
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and mutual goal alignment for treatment strategies.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, equipping children and their families with tools and resources to manage mental health emergencies effectively.
\n
• Educate young clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment approaches, and community support resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuing education to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about the latest advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents dealing with diverse mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and various behavioral challenges. Your expertise will help in fostering a safe and trusting therapeutic environment where young individuals can express themselves and engage in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in a child and adolescent setting.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Proven skills in delivering individual and family therapy, demonstrating compassion and patience.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of establishing rapport with children, teens, and their families.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technology to streamline administrative tasks and enhance service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with specific therapeutic models such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary teams that include psychological, educational, and social service professionals will be highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting both experience and qualifications.
