Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that consider the interplay between patients' medical and psychological conditions.

• Develop and implement integrated treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical issues, ensuring tailored approaches for each patient.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to encourage growth and recovery.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical providers to create and maintain a coordinated care plan aimed at optimizing patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for patients facing mental health emergencies, utilizing proven strategies to stabilize and assist them effectively.

• Educate patients and their families about the relationship between mental health and physical well-being, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings and interdisciplinary care coordination efforts to ensure alignment on patient care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals with co-occurring medical conditions, such as autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, and substance use disorders. Our goal is to provide comprehensive support to patients navigating complex challenges, ensuring they receive the care necessary for holistic healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Minimum of three years of experience in providing clinical mental health support to individuals with complex needs.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with patients and collaboration with team members.

• Ability to uphold professional ethics, maintain confidentiality, and navigate sensitive issues with discretion.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in various computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually.
