Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status through one-on-one consultations, utilizing evidence-based diagnostic tools.

• Develop tailored therapy plans that address individual needs, incorporating interventions for conditions such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.
\n
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individual and group, providing clients with effective coping strategies and skills essential for their recovery.
\n
• Monitor client progress, modifying treatment approaches as necessary and providing referrals to psychiatrists or additional specialists when needed.
\n
• Create and maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documenting client assessments, treatment plans, and progress, ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, utilizing strong de-escalation techniques to support clients in distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population facing a myriad of challenges, including but not limited to, mood disorders, substance use issues, and trauma responses. Your cultural competence and adaptability will be crucial in building rapport and effectively addressing the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client. The role demands sensitivity and a commitment to promoting inclusivity in mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of various mental health disorders.

• Knowledge and application of evidence-based treatment methodologies and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients from various cultural backgrounds.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and familiarity with telehealth practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
