This position is housed within our outpatient office while primarily functioning in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify mental health needs and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Providing individual and family therapy through evidence-based therapeutic modalities designed to support emotional well-being and resilience.

• Completing comprehensive billing documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms within specified timelines to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.

• Developing crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to assist clients in maintaining stable mental health and navigating difficult situations.

• Creating effective discharge plans that facilitate a smooth transition from ongoing therapy to independence.
\n
• Adhering to all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as internal policies, to ensure compliance in all therapeutic practices.

• Staying abreast of industry developments by participating in ongoing training and continuing education opportunities.
\n
• Engaging in regular case consultations and agency meetings to enhance care collaboration and improve patient outcomes.

• Completing all licensure and mandatory training requirements as part of our commitment to professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients represent diverse backgrounds and experiences, requiring therapists who are culturally competent and sensitive to varying needs. Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that meets the criteria for licensure in mental health.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of Massachusetts is essential for this position.

While not mandatory, prior experience in outpatient mental health therapy is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a solid understanding of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
