Work Environment

This role will primarily be conducted in a remote setting, enabling you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments while working in an outpatient clinic atmosphere. You will engage with clients through teletherapy, employing programs designed to treat conditions such as anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Our treatment modalities integrate evidence-based practices, ensuring you will continuously enhance your clinical skills and stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapies.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, ensuring comprehensive treatment planning and execution.
• Engage in weekly supervision sessions with the clinical director or lead therapist to refine your skills and maintain clinical compliance.
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes in electronic medical records, adhering to agency and regulatory guidelines.
• Assess and evaluate client needs, adjusting therapeutic approaches as required to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in continued education and professional development opportunities to further your licensure and enhance your career trajectory.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will primarily support children and adolescents along with their families, delivering highly individualized care to address their specific mental health challenges. Your practice will involve cross-training opportunities with adult populations, allowing for a diverse experience that broadens your clinical expertise. You will play a pivotal role in transforming the emotional and psychological narratives of your clients, guiding them toward recovery and wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate in a relevant field is mandatory.
• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of two years' relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• A fundamental understanding of legal and ethical considerations in mental health practice.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a healthcare team, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Experience providing care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, based on experience and caseload.
