Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients’ lives.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) , to facilitate recovery and improve client outcomes.

• Provide ongoing education to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote mental well-being.

• Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress throughout therapy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal care.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and medical professionals to deliver integrated care and support for clients’ overall mental health.

• Regularly update skills and knowledge through continuous education and research initiatives focused on mood disorders and emerging treatment methodologies.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and participate in team meetings to foster professional development and share best practices within the team.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mood disorders, ensuring they receive the support they deserve.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our target population primarily consists of individuals grappling with various mood disorders. You will support clients from diverse backgrounds and demographics, empowering them to navigate their mental health challenges through tailored therapeutic interventions. Your cultural competence and sensitivity will play a key role in establishing trusting relationships with these clients, enabling meaningful and effective therapeutic progress.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) , or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Demonstrated expertise in therapeutic modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• Solid knowledge of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals.

• Excellent communication abilities to foster rapport and provide support to clients from various cultural backgrounds.

• Proven experience in delivering high-quality mental health counseling in outpatient settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
