Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing you to adapt your work environment to maximize your productivity and focus on delivering care. While working in a digital space through our telehealth platform, you will engage with colleagues and patients using the latest technology, maintaining our commitment to accessibility and client engagement. The position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments via telehealth to evaluate the needs of children and adolescents, ensuring to take into account their developmental stages and preferences.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances, goals, and challenges.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions specifically designed to address a wide spectrum of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to equip families with effective strategies to create nurturing and supportive environments for their children.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to care.

• Utilize crisis intervention techniques during mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and resources to affected children and adolescents.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health, treatment options, and local resources available to support their journey.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and engaging in continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of current research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position is specifically focused on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. The therapist will work with a diverse population, including those struggling with anxiety, emotion dysregulation, attention-deficit disorders, and more. You will also engage with families to foster a supportive environment for the recovery and growth of our younger patients, emphasizing collaboration and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
\n
• Solid knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic interventions.

• Proven experience in delivering effective individual and family therapy specific to children and adolescents.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with children, adolescents, and their families in a telehealth context.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have a background working specifically in child and adolescent mental health settings, demonstrating familiarity with a range of evidence-based treatment methodologies geared toward this population. Experience in telehealth treatment delivery is also highly valued, given the remote nature of this role.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus designed to welcome you to our practice.
