Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to understand their unique challenges and needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, taking into account developmental stages, family dynamics, and individual circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at alleviating symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and allied professionals to create a seamless approach to care, ensuring that every aspect of a patient's treatment is coordinated.

• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies to young individuals and their families.
\n
• Offer education and resources to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and secure documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, training, and team-building activities to stay current with best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral issues. You will be instrumental in facilitating their journey toward recovery by providing compassionate and evidence-based therapeutic care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques specific to children and adolescents.

• Demonstrated experience delivering individual and family therapy, with a focus on young clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
