Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document client progress from initial consultation through treatment completion.

• Develop and implement personalized intervention plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on thorough assessments of their mental, behavioral, and emotional health.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage introspection, learning, and coping skills development.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to foster ongoing recovery and goal achievement.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to optimize client care.

• Communicate effectively with clients’ other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive treatment during hospital admissions or transitions in care.

• Recognize and address behaviors that may hinder recovery, offering insights and alternative strategies to help clients overcome these challenges.

• Support family members and caregivers by providing them with tools and strategies to manage their loved ones’ mental health issues effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent.

• Successful completion of the National Counseling Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills paired with strong interpersonal skills, perfect for building rapport with diverse clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly in a telehealth environment.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Deep understanding of various mental health disorders, substance use issues, and their co-occurring conditions.

• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and treatment modalities.

• Insight into the effects of medications prescribed by medical professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
