Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and inform treatment paths.

• Designing and implementing tailored treatment plans collaboratively with patients aimed at fostering recovery and resilience.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma and developing adaptive coping strategies.
\n
• Working closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that patients receive synchronized and comprehensive care.

• Providing emergency support and crisis intervention during trauma-related events.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Engaging in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focusing on trauma-informed care.

• Staying abreast of the latest research and practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily focused on working with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including veterans, survivors of domestic violence, and those grappling with complex emotional responses. Your role will be paramount in helping them navigate their healing process, empower them to reclaim their narratives, and build resilience as they work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.
\n
• Proficient understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities alongside a demonstrated track record in delivering trauma-focused therapies.

• Excellent interpersonal skills complemented by an empathetic, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• The ability to remain composed in high-stress situations and provide compassionate care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to navigate computer applications pertinent to clinical practice.

• A collaborative mindset geared towards engaging with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years post-licensure experience is required, additional experience in trauma-informed care practices, crisis intervention, and group therapy will be beneficial. Previous involvement with diverse patient populations or specialized trauma cases would further strengthen your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
