Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances. Provide individual and group therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adjusted to the specific needs of the client. Set and collaboratively review therapeutic goals with clients, monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes. Offer teletherapy services to enhance accessibility for clients who prefer virtual support, particularly those with mobility challenges or geographical constraints. Maintain precise documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with professional and ethical standards. Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives, including workshops and peer consultations, to continuously refine your clinical skills and stay updated with best practices. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a varied clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your role is crucial in guiding clients towards resilience and personal growth while employing an empathic and non-judgmental approach. You will have the privilege of supporting clients in their journey toward healing and self-discovery. Qualifications Current valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients, facilitating a safe therapeutic environment. Demonstrated capacity for empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental stance towards client experiences. Strong organizational talents and effective time management skills to maintain a balanced caseload. Preferred Experience Experience working in a private practice or similar outpatient settings. Background in teletherapy and familiarity with virtual counseling platforms. Proven success in client-centered therapy approaches and a commitment to continuous self-improvement.
