Work Environment\n

The role is designed for a remote work setting, leveraging telehealth technology to accommodate our clients from the comfort and security of their own homes. Our innovative approach combines flexibility with professional excellence, allowing therapists to manage their schedules effectively while delivering vital mental health services. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some rotational evening and weekend shifts as needed to accommodate our patients' schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and structured assessments to accurately evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, duration, and frequency.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific goals, preferences, and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in managing their mood disorders.

• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families, offering insights into mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in collaborative practices with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring all aspects of clients' mental health are addressed.

• Stay informed about the latest research and clinical guidelines related to mood disorders to refine treatment approaches and maximize patient benefit.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Contribute to case discussions and team meetings, participating in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and acceptance of mental health issues, and working to destigmatize mood disorders in the wider community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals suffering from various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Clients may present with a wide range of challenges, from mild impairments to severe and persistent conditions, requiring your professional expertise and compassionate approach to navigate their therapeutic journey successfully.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of New York.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaborations with psychiatrists.

• Exceptional communication skills and an ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing specifically on mood disorders and their effective treatments.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, along with performance-based bonuses.
