Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while utilizing our advanced telehealth systems. You'll have the flexibility of a work schedule primarily set between Monday and Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening and weekend hours as part of a collaborative team effort. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor in our facility, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the presence and severity of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
\n
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and preferences.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective interventions.

• Monitor clients' progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and involve them in the treatment process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of therapy sessions and treatment plans, complying with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, aiming to reduce the stigma associated with mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals facing mood-related challenges, including conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Our diverse clientele comes from various backgrounds, and it is essential that you are able to establish rapport and provide empathetic care tailored to their specific circumstances.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will enhance your application:
