Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough ongoing assessments to identify and address the unique needs of each patient you serve.

• Facilitate effective communication between supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and any relevant stakeholders regarding clients’ treatment progress.

• Develop and provide a tentative schedule of appointments, home visits, and observations to supervisors, ensuring consistent monitoring of client progress.
\n
• Coordinate essential home visits for in-home observations, chart reviews, and staff interviews, enhancing the understanding of a client’s needs.
\n
• Ensure the dependable implementation of tailored program plans for clients and monitor their effectiveness carefully.
\n
• Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other relevant discussions to enhance collaborative care.
\n
• Complete detailed monthly and quarterly progress notes to document clients’ advancements and changes in their treatment.
\n
• Organize and facilitate training for team members to ensure proficiency in implementing program plans and accurately utilizing documentation sheets.
\n
• Conduct follow-up interviews, home visits, and observational assessments to provide ongoing support to clients.
\n
• Maintain meticulous records to guarantee that pertinent information is readily accessible to authorized individuals.

• Act as a liaison between the mental health community and the public to support the achievement of developmental goals for individuals.

• Assist in creating training materials and procedures aimed at enhancing program delivery and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The successful candidate will work with a broad spectrum of clients, focusing on both adult and youth populations. You will have the opportunity to engage with individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, or substance misuse. Understanding the unique dynamics of each client's situation, including family relationships and community influences, is key to providing effective counseling.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in the state of Nevada.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling capacity, preferably within a clinical setting.

• A robust understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
