Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and interviews with clients to document their mental health history, behavioral patterns, and emotional state.

• Evaluate mental, behavioral, and emotional health through structured assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Design and implement effective intervention strategies tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups, using up-to-date therapeutic methodologies.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, addressing various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Monitor and document client progress, modifying treatment plans as needed to ensure continual improvement and adherence to therapeutic goals.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes.

• Provide follow-up support and communication for hospitalized clients to ensure a smooth transition back to outpatient care.

• Educate and support families and primary caregivers in managing behavioral challenges to foster a nurturing recovery environment.

Qualifications\n

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, in the state of Texas.

• A score that demonstrates qualification in the National Counselor Exam (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a capacity to coordinate care through electronic health record systems.

• A detail-oriented mindset with exceptional interpersonal skills, showcasing empathy and active listening abilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, with a focus on either individual or group therapy.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare coverage, a retirement savings plan with employer contributions, and generous paid time off (PTO).
