Work Environment

The outpatient office setting allows for direct patient interaction, enabling physical therapists to forge meaningful relationships with patients while tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs. This role offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, with hours from 2 PM to 8 PM, promoting a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the therapeutic care of assigned patients in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team, ensuring that treatment plans are effectively implemented.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify functional impairments and develop individualized care plans that focus on achieving specific health outcomes.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions and maintain ongoing evaluations throughout the treatment process to adapt care strategies as needed.
• Provide direct physical therapy in accordance with professional standards, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on the use of prescribed therapies, exercises, and therapeutic devices to empower them in their recovery process.
• Optimize patient care by prioritizing caseload, adjusting staffing and treatment assignments, and ensuring smooth transitions in care.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of advances in the field and introduce new methodologies into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Valid, active Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
• Must acquire Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
• No previous experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for new graduates.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation protocols, therapeutic exercises, and patient engagement techniques is a plus.
