Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for clients, including diagnostic evaluations and crisis intervention as necessary.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs and goals, collaborating with a multidisciplinary health team.
\n
• Provide guidance and support to clients and their families throughout the treatment process, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and addressing any barriers that may arise.
\n
• Supervise post-master’s fellows and associate clinical staff when applicable, fostering professional development and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and classes to educate clients about mental health, coping strategies, and available resources.
\n
• Utilize community resources, including public and private organizations, to enhance treatment options for clients and their families.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, including treatment plans, intake summaries, and progress notes, adhering to state and NCQA regulations.
\n
• Participate in departmental on-call rotation and staff meetings to discuss treatment plans and interventions as needed.
\n
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address psychiatric medication needs.
\n
• Alert appropriate agencies regarding any safety risks identified during counseling sessions in compliance with mandated reporting requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves adults and children experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required upon hire.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a clinical or counseling setting, particularly in community health domains.

• Familiarity with mental health and behavioral health interventions, crisis intervention strategies, and patient education.

• Supervisory experience is a plus but not required.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Peace, Mind and Life Counseling offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 122,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
