Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapeutic plans that meet each client’s unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, fostering a safe space for discussion and growth.

• Employ various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy to effectively address client needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular communication with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care and follow-up.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC at Privia Psychotherapy will work primarily with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance misuse. Many of our clients may have limited access to traditional mental health services, and your role will be pivotal in offering them much-needed support and guidance as they navigate their emotional landscapes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.

• Current, valid, and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is required.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience.

• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical guidelines relevant to mental health practice.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.

Compensation and Benefits\n
