Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group therapy focused on evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care.

• Develop tailored treatment plans for clients, addressing their unique goals and challenges, especially concerning alcohol use and recovery.

• Facilitate therapist-led support groups and workshops aimed at providing a sense of community and empowerment.
\n
• Engage in regular clinical supervision and peer consultation meetings to discuss case management and therapeutic techniques.

• Stay current with Continuing Education Units (CEUs), with all costs covered by Branches of Growth Psychotherapy LLC.
\n
• Collaborate with our Content Manager to create “Expert Insights” articles for our community, sharing knowledge and experiences.

• Receive client referrals and maintain strong engagement with existing clients, ensuring consistent follow-up and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve clients focused on changing their relationship with alcohol through various paths, including abstinence and moderation. You will cater to a diverse demographic, well-versed in the principles of harm reduction, making it essential for you to understand community recovery support options, such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Moderation Management. Our goal is to empower our clients to embrace all available support systems while using our clinical services.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in the state of Texas.

• Required education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

• Proven experience and training in utilizing therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.

• Excellent communication and clinical engagement skills, demonstrating a capacity for empathy and understanding toward clients.

• Ability to incorporate a harm-reduction model into treatment plans, understanding clients' varying needs and preferences.
