Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while providing essential mental health services through telehealth. Our innovative platform facilitates seamless communications with clients, enabling you to provide care from the comfort of your home. Collaborations with other professionals are frequent and effective, ensuring a cohesive approach to treatment and enhancing the overall quality of care for our clients. The normal work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients, utilizing standardized instruments and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals, regularly reviewing and adjusting these plans based on their progress.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients develop effective coping strategies.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment decisions, and self-care practices, creating an informed support system for recovery.
\n
• Monitor client progress consistently, with a focus on identifying barriers to treatment and enhancing clients’ engagement in their care.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated treatment approach and transitional care when necessary.

• Stay current with developments in the mental health field, particularly related to mood disorders, to integrate the latest evidence into your practice.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in line with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Engage in professional development, participating in case consultations and team meetings to refine clinical skills and share insights with colleagues.

• Serve as a champion for clients, actively working to destigmatize mental health issues while advocating for their needs within the community and broader healthcare system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically focuses on working with individuals affected by mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will be engaging with a diverse clientele, adapting therapeutic practices to meet the unique cultural and personal contexts of each client. Using a holistic approach, your work will facilitate access to necessary resources, enhancing clients' quality of life and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a reputable accredited institution is required.

• A valid state license (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW-R, LCSW, Psychologist, or Psychoanalyst) to practice mental health therapy.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience focusing on mood disorders is preferred.
\n
• Strong familiarity with evidence-based treatments for mood disorders, with a proven skill set in modalities such as CBT and DBT.
\n
• Comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology as it relates to therapy, facilitating effective collaboration with psychiatric professionals.

• Demonstrable history of successful outcomes in managing mood disorders and an ability to establish rapport with a diverse set of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a telehealth setting, utilizing virtual platforms for client engagement, assessment, and therapy is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience, along with performance bonuses.
