Although primarily remote, regular team meetings and training sessions will take place, as well as occasional in-person attendance for key events or volunteer activities at our Detox Center in Tallahassee, Florida.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ social, emotional, and psychological needs, ensuring holistic care.

• Provide tailored individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate positive change.

• Design and implement individualized service plans that realistically address clients' goals and objectives, adapting them as necessary based on client progress.

• Actively advocate for clients’ rights and help them navigate access to necessary resources, including medical support, housing assistance, and legal services.

• Contribute to ongoing program development, evaluation, and reporting, ensuring accountability and effectiveness of our services.

• Collaborate with community organizations, government officials, and volunteers to enhance service delivery and reach vulnerable populations.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives, promoting awareness and understanding of the services available to those in need.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population includes individuals and families facing a variety of challenges, from mental health issues to socio-economic barriers. Our clients often come from marginalized backgrounds and seek support for addiction recovery, trauma, and issues related to systemic injustice. Your role will focus on empowering these individuals to overcome their challenges and gain access to the resources they need for holistic recovery and stability.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Florida.

• Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational skills to effectively support clients in various circumstances.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus.
