Executive Assistant to Co-Founder - Venture Capital Firm - San Francisco (Onsite)

THE GIST Our client, a highly-regarded boutique venture capital firm, is seeking an expert Executive Assistant to support its Co-Founder/Managing Director. You'll become a trusted thought partner to a senior executive, interacting regularly with founders, investors, and key stakeholders while playing an integral role in the firm's day-to-day success. The ideal candidate has an impressive career as an EA to senior leaders in either venture capital or high-growth tech companies. THE NITTY GRITTY Provide high-level & strategic executive support the Co-Founder/ Managing Director Manage a complex calendar, travel logistics, meetings, and shifting priorities with precision Leverage AI tools to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and continuously optimize administrative processes Act as a trusted partner by anticipating needs, identifying solutions, and driving initiatives forward independently Prepare meeting materials, coordinate follow-up items, and help keep strategic priorities on track Communicate confidently and professionally with founders, investors, portfolio company leaders, and other external stakeholders Attend executive meetings and maintain discretion around highly confidential information Take ownership of special projects and operational initiatives as the business evolves THE ESSENTIALS 7 years of Executive Assistant experience supporting senior executives Experience within venture capital or a fast-paced tech environment required Tech-savvy and AI-fluent, with demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve workflows and productivity Highly autonomous with exceptional judgment and the ability to independently drive projects from start to finish Solutions-oriented mindset (you naturally come with ideas, recommendations, and options rather than simply identifying problems) Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with polished executive presence Organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously Collaborative with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude Someone who genuinely enjoys being an Executive Assistant and takes pride in enabling executive success THE CHERRY ON TOP Gain exposure to innovative startups, founders, and investors at the forefront of technology Beautiful office, supportive team, and great benefits! LOCATION San Francisco, CA (4 days onsite, 1 WFH) COMPENSATION $170k to 190k base salary + carry + benefits (exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and expertise) Compensation is aligned with experience, level, and role scope. Most offers fall within the mid-range, with the top of the band generally reserved for candidates with extensive, directly relevant backgrounds.
