Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and maintain comprehensive and confidential patient records in compliance with federal and state regulations, ensuring a high standard of practice.

• Conduct thorough assessments, evaluations, and counselling sessions for patients dealing with mental health challenges, facilitating both individual and group therapy.

• Provide crisis counseling for students and clients in distress, performing critical interventions and assessments as necessary to ensure safety and support.
\n
• Deliver training and outreach programs related to mental health topics for students, faculty, and staff, enhancing awareness and understanding of mental wellness practices.
\n
• Plan and implement mental health services and outreach events aimed at promoting wellness, improving academic performance, and supporting patient retention.
\n
• Consult with faculty and staff regarding any psychological concerns involving students, advising on best practices to foster a supportive academic environment.

• Evaluate and respond to referral requests through our internal systems, updating case information and following up on care plans as needed.

The primary focus of this role is on diverse student populations, addressing various mental health and substance abuse issues that may hinder their academic and personal growth. You will work closely with individuals facing challenges like anxiety, depression, and stress related to academic pressures, improving their overall well-being and capacity for success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC is required; we are unable to accept applicants with an associate license.

• Proven proficiency with digital tools, particularly Microsoft Office Suite, to manage paperwork and documentation effectively.

• A demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a high caseload in a fast-paced environment.

• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration within our interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred but not required.
